Sign Up for Lenten Study and Devotional Books
A reminder that the Lenten Study began this past Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. There’s still time to join us on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. If you haven’t registered to receive the devotional booklet and/or attend the study you can register online here: bsumc501.breezechms.com/form/lent2022.
Interfaith Prayers for Ukraine
Last Sunday evening was the interfaith prayer gathering for Ukraine with our neighbors across the street at First Congregational UCC. There was a wonderful turnout of faith leaders from a variety of faith traditions, community members, and Ukrainian families in the Washington Gladden Social Justice Park. Keep watching for invitations to future gatherings.
AIDS Walk Ohio 2022
AIDS Walk Ohio 2022 is scheduled for April 9th, downtown at Genoa Park. Registration opens at 9:00 a.m, and the Walk will step off at 10:30 a.m. at McFerson Commons. Broad Street Family News
We received word this week that a longtime friend and member of Broad Street, Barbara Raymond, has died. Per her request, there will be no calling hours or memorial services. Condolences may be sent to her daughter; please contact the office for more details.
Memorial Service dates have been set for two other beloved members of the Broad Street family:
Services for Carolyn Towers will be held on May 28th, here at the church. Carolyn’s family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. here in the Sanctuary, where a memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m.
A service for Tom DeBolt will be held on May 21st, outdoors on the lawn, weather permitting. This celebration service will begin at 1:00 p.m. and includes a potluck picnic and an invitation to bring pets on leashes, as Tom deeply loved animals, food, and fellowship.

If you’d like to serve as a Sunday morning liturgist or greeter or to sponsor Altar flowers in the Sanctuary, there is a sign-up sheet in the Narthex. You can also sign up for Altar flowers here.
