UPWARD AND ONWARD:
Danii G's last day with Broad Street UMC will be June 23rd. Danii has served our church as a Media & Communications Coordinator. Danii has done a wonderful job of getting Broad St UMC on Google, updating our Facebook page, and keeping communications engaging. Danii will always be known as our Worship Photographer, capturing smiles in the congregation and creating life long memories for our church. Please join us on June 23rd as we celebrate Danii's service to Broad Street UMC. There will be a coffee hour after church in honor of Danii's contributions to our church.
YOU SCREAM, I SCREAM, WE ALL SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM
July 7th, we will have an Ice Cream Social right after the service. Its Ohio, and July, and we know it will be hot. Join us and get to know one another even better. While enjoying delicious ice cream, I challenge you to talk to one person you don’t know and look for one thing that you may have in common. We’re all connected in one way or another. Let’s adventure!! (We’ll do our best to have some Lactose Free ice cream available as well)
NEW PASTOR ALERT:
We are proud to welcome Rev. Dr. Lori Reiber as our new Pastor at Broad St UMC. Pastor Lori and her husband, Rev. Tom Miller will be moving to Columbus soon from Lima, OH and Pastor Lori will be starting at Broad Street on July 15th. Pastor Tom Miller will be serving at Kirkersville United Methodist Church. We are so excited to have Pastor Lori join us.
KNOW SOMEONE BIKING THE PELETON THIS YEAR?
Join us in supporting the Peloton on August 3rd between the hours of 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Broad St UMC has been chosen this year as one of several Spirit Stations to support the 2024 Peloton Riders. We are looking for 10-20 volunteers. Some will be needed in the church to direct participants to the restroom and provide some light refreshments. Others will be needed out front with their best cheering voice. This is an opportunity for passerby families of the Peloton riders to tour our church while cheering on their loved ones. Please let Rob Hazlett know if you can participate.
