New Staff Members at Broad Street
During yesterday’s Worship, Jon Sadler, Chair of the Personnel Subcommittee of the Leadership Board shared with us that Broad Street has hired two new individuals. We welcome Josh Posten as our part-time Facilities Manager. Josh is also the Program Coordinator for the Columbus Coalition for the Homeless and has a passion for keeping the homeless and marginalized in our community connected to services and to a safe space such as Broad Street Church.
Jon also shared the hiring of Broad Street’s new organist. Jason Mace, who is currently the organist at North Broadway UMC, will be joining the Broad Street staff in June, with his first Sunday at the bench being Sunday, June 12th. We are as excited to welcome Jason as he is to meet and play for the people of Broad Street.
We are grateful to all who participated in the search for the right person to join the music ministry at Broad Street. We remain very grateful for the musicians who have made our Sunday morning Worship times so meaningful over the past few months, and we extend our gratitude to Gary Everts, Director of Music, for coordinating these musicians through the busy seasons of Advent, Christmas, Lent, and Easter.
