Columbus Pride Events

Central Ohio Reconciling Ministries Pride Festival
Saturday, June 11 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
at Bethel International UMC, 1220 Bethel Road

Stonewall Columbus
Pride Parade and Festival—The People’s Pride: Pride Belongs to the People

June 18, 2022; Step-off at 10:30 a.m.

The goal for RMN churches is to get to the staging area early so we will step off sooner once the parade starts. Vehicles will meet at Broad Street UMC at 8:00 a.m. and leave for the entry point around 8:15 a.m. The earliest we can enter is 8:30. The staging area is located on Rich St. east of High St., not far from Broad Street UMC. We’ll line up on High between Rich and Broad, possibly in front of or near the Capitol building. It is early, so be prepared for a long wait to get moving. Walkers can catch a shuttle at Broad Street between 9-10:30 a.m., or park and walk (about five city blocks) to the vehicles already lined up. It’s a good walk but doable. Hopefully, we’ll have some shade to stand or sit in while waiting. We are encouraging everyone to provide their own shuttle or transportation back to Broad Street at the end of the parade, which will be at Buttles and High. Vehicles continue straight on High at Buttles and walkers turn left on Buttles. If you are planning to join us for Stonewall’s Pride Parade, we hope this gives you a better idea of what to plan on and plan for!
